Humber Academy stars shone at Wigan this weekend...
The Humber Squash Academy was well represented, by players from Hull & East Riding and Anlaby Squash Clubs, in the popular Wigan Tournament this weekend. Still continuing their climb up the rankings at Under 13 level, in the boys Yusef Forster confirmed his number 1 seeding by taking the title with a solid 3-0 performance (his first at Under 13 level). In the girls Under 13's, Zoe Kaiser reinforced her position as the number 1 seed, by winning all of her games to take the title. A clean sweep for the Academy kids at Under 13 level. Also travelling to the tournament, the Academy's young nationally ranked, Aisha Forster (only 10) took the plate trophy also in the under 13's event, beating the number 28 in England. Great effort from Aisha! In a very tough fought Under 17 draw Nathan Kaiser came away with the plate runner up prize. Another notable performance was at Newcastle, where Charlotte Fish (Hull & ER and Anlaby, still only 12) competed in the Under 15 girls event and winning the plate trophy.
